flooring.
Executive Granite of Gulf Shores provided a medium shade of
Travertine flooring throughout the unit, including in bathrooms, showers
and living areas.
“The decorators wanted to increase the value of their unit,” said owner
Martin Olechowski. “And, Travertine flooring is a totally different feel
from tile.” He also installed granite countertops in the kitchens. This
Brazilian granite is a Persian brown shade.
Executive Granite, in business for ten years, installs products in
homes, condos, commercial property and remodeling projects. His company
serves clients “within a 300-mile radius, from Louisiana, to
Birmingham, and over to Sandestin and Panama City.”
For fabric help, the Robbins’ turned to Kim Perdue of Thompson
Draperies & Interiors of Russellville, Ala. “We did window treatments for
the whole unit, and some bedding,” she reported.
“Drapery panels in the main living area are earth tones, in amber, sage
green and terra cotta. They were made from linen, silks, and faux silk,
which is fade-resistant polyester.”
“Linens and chenille were used for bed skirts and pillows in the two
master bedrooms,” she said, “and the children’s rooms were done in pink
and brown, and blue and brown. The linen awning in a children’s room is
made to look like a tiki hut.”
