A Pensacola faux finisher has helped a family
beautify their Perdido Beach condo, using basic
“green” materials. Natural fabrics, granite and
stone from two other companies completed the
project. Designer Faux Services has served customers
from Fairhope to Seaside, for the past 18
years. ‘’We use the best eco-friendly materials
you can get in the industry. They’re mostly mineral-based,”
said owner Damon Hitt. No stucco is
used in his Roman plaster technique; in this case,
it’s six layers of plasters and wax.
The living room is
furnished with bold
accents and decorative
art.
He recently treated walls
throughout a large condo at Perdido
Beach and Yacht Club, using a
“soothing, lustrous highlight gold, and
natural stone color. It created a tranquil
environment,” he said. “The owners wanted
an Old World look, with a peaceful feel.”
He also applied antiquing finish to all cabinets
throughout the home. “This look is copper,
with a natural, aged patina.”
