Luxor offers the Party Chill Master with insulated walls. Like
the ice well, it has a roomy compartment for grab-and-go drinks,
but with a recess for garnishes, a front rack for larger bottles, and a
built-in bottle opener. A large lid protects it.
Any custom bar is only limited by a customer’s imagination,
Kevin remarked. “We coordinate the motif or design of any outdoor
style. Customers choose the color and finish, from paint to brick.
We’re pretty flexible.’’
But Kevin isn’t flexible about quality. He insists on using porcelain
tile countertops. Inside, “our cabinets have welded, rigid aluminum
tube frames, which prevent rusting and corrosion from the
coast’s salt air. Frames are covered with Hardi Backer Board, a
more durable and dense material than sheet rock; it’s cementbased.”
Off-the-ground cabinet flooring stays clean and dry. Veranda
brand composite board, or a light plastic board, neither of which
absorb water, are cut and installed.
“We guarantee these islands will not rot, rust, warp or swell; we
want our products to last as long as their homes last.” They also
design and build outdoor fire pits.
