Jerry’s Cajun Café and
Catering, which closed for
over seven months due to a
fire, is happily open again
and busy serving authentic
Cajun food from owner,
Jerry Mistretta’s native
Louisiana.
It’s been said that Jerry’s not only serves the
best Cajun food this side of the Mississippi but,
also has the friendliest staff east of Los Angeles.
“Whether you like spicy, medium or mild, Jerry’s
has something for you. When asked if his food is
hot his answer was, one person’s hot is another
person’s mild and visa versa.”
Jerry’s menu is full of south Louisiana goodies
such as gumbo, jambalaya, red beans and rice,
po’boys of all kinds, crawfish etouffe’, great
seafood, and sauces. Jerry’s gets his French bread
from Gambino’s bakery in New Orleans, and uses
