Kohler is a leader in design of bathroom
furniture and fixtures.
“They have a look for everything, from
minimum to modern, to very traditional.
Designs are leaning toward clean and
streamlined,” said Lorrie Riley, showroom
manager at Bogan Supply in Pensacola.
“Things just aren’t as fussy as they once
were. The way we live now, we need efficient,
time-saving appliances and equipment,”
she observed. “Our home is our
refuge, and because our lives are so busy, we
want to come home to an environment that’s
peaceful and calming.”
Long famous for its fixture innovations,
Kohler has ventured into designing natural
wood furniture bathrooms to suit customer
tastes. They offer a variety of finishes, stains
and colors, in styles from early American
“Ballard,” to stable-like “Thistledown,” to
dark, bamboo “Mersing” with an Asian
theme.

can transform into a cozy powder room-like

veneers. Vanities have slow-close drawers,
with dovetail construction built to last.
Kohler has blended fashion and function
into heirloom quality, to match any home’s
treasures.
Molded cast iron sinks are the new,
ingenious icing on the Kohler cake. With an
ultra high-gloss coating over rich solid colors,
the simple integrated basin and lavatory

Smith has created two looks: one for
“Town” and one for “Country” bathrooms.
For city-dwellers, he provides a modern
look with historic detail, inspired by the cinematic
architecture of the 1930s and 40s;
better known as, a traditional Manhattan
apartment.
He lends this retro design to bathtubs,
whirlpools, faucets, hand showers, toilets,
pedestal sinks and under-counter basins,
hooks, and towel bars.
His countryside style, inspired by 18th
century Colonial American, can be seen in
marble and mahogany vanities and lavatories,
whirlpool surrounds, and accented with
polish nickel and antique silver finishes.
Barbara Barry’s elegant furnished
rooms, which double as bathrooms, show off
expert craftsmanship, material and scale.
Her deep cast whirlpool tub is encased in
mahogany and marble.
